Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes Let Their Love Bloom at the 2024 Met Gala (Look at Those Flowers!)

The country singer and the ‘Outer Banks’ star were first rumored to be dating in January 2023

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes brought their chic style to the 2024 Met Gala!

On May 6, the pair took their love to fashion's biggest night, where they made their debut in looks that definitely had jaws dropping.

Ballerini took this year's theme (“Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion) and dress code (titled "The Garden of Time") quite literally, decked from head to toe in vibrant floral appliqués.

The design, which is couture Michael Kors Collection, featured orange, pink and yellow flower-like embellishments along the flowing cape sleeves and down the dress, which also had strategically-placed sheer panels for a hint of sexiness. The country singer also adorned her bun with the same flowers and kept the springtime vibes going with custom floral jewels by Simon G. Jewelry, including rings and earrings made of 18K gold, diamonds and sapphires.

Meanwhile, the Outer Banks star dazzled in a black Michael Kors Collection suit covered in sequins that caught the light from every angle. He accessorized his low-cut blazer (which he later unbuttoned to show off his abs) with statement necklaces and kept his signature hair in a sleek "wet" look.

Before the big reveal, Stokes had two words for their ensembles: “f---king awesome."

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actor teased that their looks represent each of their personalities. “I think what we like to do is just complement versus coordinate,” he said.

On the carpet Stokes, who partnered with Motorola on his debut, couldn't help but gush over his girlfriend's marvelous attire some more. When PEOPLE asked him what he thought of Ballerini's look, all he could say was that it scored a "5,000 out of 10."

The couple sparked dating rumors back in January 2023, when Stokes posted a soft launch of him and Ballerini at the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. 

Before Stokes, Ballerini had been married to ex-husband Morgan Evans, 39, for nearly five years.

Now, Stokes and Ballerini seem to have settled into a routine with each other, appearing at events and posing for the cameras as a couple. The pair were photographed at the Country Music Awards, where Stokes supported his girlfriend, who was nominated for CMT performance of the year.
