Love Island's Tiffany addresses Harriett rivalry after show exit

Love Island star Tiffany Leighton has offered her side in her disagreement with Harriett Blackmore over Ronnie Vint.

Tiffany was recently dumped off the Island together with Omar Nyame after the contestants were called to pick which two co-stars would be given the boot.

Now her time on the show is over, Tiffany reflected on her feud with Harriett as they were both interested in Ronnie and got to know him in the Spanish villa.

"Harriett and I are very different people," Tiffany said (via Closer).

"I don't know if we'd ever see eye-to-eye, after the Ronnie situation," she admitted though she insisted there isn't any animosity.

"There is no bad blood from my side, but we handle situations very differently," she said.

Tiffany entered the villa as a bombshell and made her interest in Ronnie clear, despite him being coupled up with Harriett. Tables turned after Tiffany chose Ronnie for a night out together, with the two of them exploring their spark and Harriett recoupling with Sean Stone.

However, Harriett couldn't help but point out that Ronnie was "trying too hard" when he wouldn't kiss anyone during the dares game and raised her voice for her co-stars to know.

"The way he was behaving and not kissing people, that to me was putting a front to everyone, like trying too hard," Harriett told Jess White, before raising her voice to add: "Babe, he's literally acting!"

Later on, Tiffany decided she and Ronnie should go their separate ways before she was eliminated from the series, explaining she felt something "was missing".

"Ultimately something was missing so I had to be honest with him and be true to myself and my feelings," she said.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
