This week in KC: Mardi Gras isn’t over. Plus KC Ballet’s ‘Peter Pan,’ Peking Acrobats
Most Mardi Gras festivities around the nation have already taken place — after all, Fat Tuesday was Feb. 13 — but Kansas City will celebrate Feb. 17.
The free Mardi Gras event will run 3-7 p.m. at Kansas City Live! and will feature live music, the crowning of a king and queen and multiple contests, including crawfish eating and musical chairs. Food and drink packages will be available.
