Expect traffic delays in Doral Tuesday as Trump holds campaign rally. Avoid 87th Avenue
With former president Donald Trump holding a rally Tuesday evening in Doral, expect big traffic tie-ups in the afternoon and continuing through the rush hour and into the evening.
The rally will be at Trump National Doral Miami, 4400 NW 87th Ave. Doors are scheduled to open at 2 p.m. and Trump is slated to speak at 7 p.m.
The city of Doral will not close any streets before, during or after the rally, said Doral Police spokesperson Alicia Neal.
But city officials warn drivers to expect traffic delays on Northwest 87th Avenue between 36th and 58th streets, and Northwest 41st Street between Northwest 87th and 97th avenues.
Traffic delays are expected all day. Drivers should seek alternate routes.
